What is a Digital Signature Certificate (DSC Registration)?

A Digital hand is a secure key( USBE-Token) that contains the hand in digital format and is issued for the purpose of validating &  vindicating a particular person or reality. A digital hand instrument( DSC) is obligatory to file GST returns. also, domestic and foreign companies including LLPs are needed to sign the enrollment form using a digital hand instrument( DSC). And, for other realities including individualities, e-signing the GST return and enrollment form, using a digital hand instrument( DSC) is voluntary.

    Types of DSC

    The class of digital signature certificates is classified as per the utilization and type of
    applicant. There are 3 different class of DSCs issued by the certifying authorities:

    Documents bearing digital signatures from a Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) are admissible as legal evidence in a court of law.

    Typically, a Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) is issued for a maximum duration of 2 years, after which the certificate holder is required to renew it.

    It is permissible for an individual to possess multiple Digital Signature Certificates (DSCs) of varying classes. Such documents, when signed using DSCs, retain their validity in a court of law.
